Singing lessons are suitable for children from the ages of 4 years old to adult. Lessons are focused on improving vocal and breathing techniques, clarity, diction, repertoire and music theory. Lessons are either 30 minutes or 1 hour depending on age and ability.

1-2-1 singing lesson are taught in the school holidays and they cost £19.00 per lesson.

In the singing lesson your child will learn how to

Learn different vocal and breathing techniques
To learn to read music.
Learn about clarity and diction
Learn various musical styles and repertoire
Learn various standards for musical styles.
Learn how to find a note.
Sharpen your ability to sing a note.
Learn to breath well and strengthen lungs
Learn to control volume
Learn about your own voice – what it can do and cannot do
Learn music theory

Theory lessons will include

Being able to read and write music

Recognising rhythms and tempos
Understand melodies and harmonies
Reading musical score
Composition
Help you understand the reason and how music is composed
Learning Italian musical terms
Opportunity to work towards Associate Board Royal School of Music examinations
